Your Questions Answered

Everything you need to know before your appointment, from what to wear to how booking and payment works. If you cannot find what you need, our team is always happy to help.

Appointments & Getting Started

No. You can book directly with us. Our practitioners are trained to assess your condition and, if needed, will liaise with your GP or other medical professionals. Early assessment often leads to better outcomes.

Your practitioner will begin with a discussion about your symptoms and medical history, followed by a physical assessment of your movement.

Together, you will agree a personalised treatment plan, and you will leave with a clear understanding of your condition and next steps.

Wear something comfortable. You may be asked to remove some clothing to allow a proper assessment, but your modesty will always be protected.

For example, shorts are helpful for lower limb injuries.

  • Any completed forms (if sent in advance)
  • Relevant scans or test results (helpful but not essential)
  • Sports equipment if relevant, such as running shoes

This helps us assess you more effectively from the outset.

Treatment & Care

You may receive a bespoke exercise programme tailored to your needs and your practitioner may also recommend simple equipment to support your recovery, such as resistance bands or orthopaedic aids.

This depends on your condition, goals, and how your body responds to treatment.

Your practitioner will discuss a clear plan with you and review progress regularly.

You will usually start with one practitioner, but if your recovery would benefit from additional expertise, we may recommend working with other members of our team.

Because we work closely together, your care can be seamlessly shared across disciplines — whether that is physiotherapy, massage therapy, rehabilitation, Pilates or other specialist support — ensuring you receive the most appropriate treatment at each stage of your recovery.

Booking & Cancellations

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to amend or cancel an appointment.

Late cancellations may be charged in full, as it is often not possible to reallocate the slot.

Card payments on the day of appointment or we will email your invoice after your appointment. Payment can be made via BACS, with details provided on the invoice.

Classes are paid for on booking, in advance through our online booking portal.

Yes, but we ask that you pay us directly and reclaim the cost from your insurer.

We recommend checking your cover in advance, as policies vary and may affect which practitioner you can see.

Our Approach & Ethos

We take a hands-on, whole-body approach to treatment.

Rather than focusing on a single area of pain, we look at how your body is moving and functioning as a whole, identifying the root cause of the issue and creating a personalised plan to address it. Our aim is not just to relieve symptoms, but to help you move better, feel stronger and stay well.

It means we look beyond the area that hurts.

Pain in one part of the body is often linked to movement patterns, strength or mobility elsewhere. By assessing how everything works together, we can build a more effective and complete treatment plan.

Hands-on treatment is a key part of what we do, particularly in the early stages of recovery.

We combine this with tailored exercise, rehabilitation and advice to support your progress between sessions and help you maintain results long term.

Yes. Every patient receives a plan tailored to their individual needs, goals and lifestyle.

We take into account your daily activities, work, sport and any previous injuries to ensure your treatment is both realistic and effective.

Recovery is a process, not a quick fix.

We support you at every stage — from reducing pain, through rehabilitation, to building strength and confidence — so that you can return to the activities you enjoy and maintain your progress.
