Pilates Classes at Marsh Physio Plus

Pilates Classes

Improve posture, strength, flexibility and control with Pilates that can be adapted to your body, your goals and your stage of life.

Pilates is a thoughtful, effective form of exercise that helps improve posture, flexibility, strength, balance and body awareness. At Marsh Physio Plus, Pilates is suitable for a wide range of people and goals, not only for fitness but also as part of rehabilitation from injury or surgery.

One of the key strengths of Pilates is that it can be adapted and modified to suit the individual. That makes it appropriate for beginners as well as those looking for more challenge, and for people with different physical needs, movement histories and confidence levels.

Pilates works through controlled movement, alignment, breathing and core engagement. Over time it can help improve movement quality, muscular support, coordination and confidence in the body. It can also provide a bridge for people who find the gym environment daunting or who want an exercise method that feels both nurturing and purposeful.

Pilates is ideal for those wanting to move better, feel stronger and develop a more balanced body. It can support general fitness, recovery, injury prevention and overall wellbeing, while meeting you at your current level and helping you progress safely.

Classes are held in our Elcot Space throughout the week for Beginners, Intermediate, Intermediate Plus, Men Only, Chair Pilates. 1:1 classes are available.
