Understanding Shoulder Pain
Shoulder pain is common and can develop for a number of reasons, including overuse, poor posture, weakness around the shoulder blade, restricted movement or changes in the way the shoulder is moving and being loaded. Pain may be felt directly in the shoulder or may travel into the upper arm.
Whether your symptoms have come on through a relatively minor issue such as a strain or shoulder impingement, or relate to a more complex problem such as a rotator cuff or labral injury, physiotherapy can help you understand what is happening, reduce pain and work towards restoring comfortable movement, strength and function.
